The Workshop is an integrated, contextual approach to learning to read and write which is built upon a presumption of success for every learner. It can be adapted for use at any stage but is most effective when introduced in the very early stages of Primary School. Because the methods are inclusive, it enables all learners - the very able as well as those whose development may be more gradual -and is particularly helpful for children with Dyslexia. It will work alongside existing reading schemes, so resource demands are minimal. |
